Right here!

Get a deffinative list of "deffinates" going now! - so Nigel can see all those who want a kit!

Seems like best idea to me!

breaking the silence of a fish, the brackets are finally welded. My welding has not improved, but there is plenty of weld.

Mow to get them plated or power coated. What would you prefer?

Zinc plate?
Powder coat?

Are they roughly the same cost to do? if so then I guess Zinc would be the better option

If I had to choose I suppose I'd go for zinc plating, as it looks original, but I really don't have a preference - whatever's easier for you.

Sheddist...

Up untill a few weeks ago my clutch cylinders were "failing but working" then I got them changed along with my gearbox being rebuilt... However yesterday they went again, Got nothing from the clutch pedal and very hard to get it into gear.

Instead of me going out and spending loads of extra cash sorting it is there any chance I can get an advanced kit from you? Please

Sheddist, THANKYOU!

I have installed this kit, it took a novice like me a mere 1 hr lunch break to fit it. Then 3 mins to bleed. Followed by 2 hours of cursing and re bleeding as I couldn't work out why the clutch wouldn't engage unless I was driving it already!!

Anyway a few whiskeys that night and I slept on it. The next day I went out to the car, unscrewed the bit that connects to the pedal by 3 turns and WOW it works! Fantastic! Perfect! I can't beleive the difference!

Sorry just happy I now have a clutch that works correctly

Certainly looks quite good in there as well

Well, that is good news. I agree that the pedal adjustment is critical but very useful to get the bite just right. You have the installation record. I have messed around for much more time than that fitting the prototypes but was "snagging" along the way.

Must get the others done - travelling over then next 2 weeks puts the brakes on. GRRRRRRR

Ive changed the oe system 3 times now on my 90,000 mile ZS and it plays up most in traffic jams where getting into 1st becomes hard but once traffic running freely again the gear action goes back to normal.

Is it all ZS's that have this problem?

I have only noticed 180s suffering, and wonder if it was ever fixed by MGR...

And would the kit fit other ZSs - I guess it would fit a 120 since Sheddist has one?

OK game on!
I have finally a week or 2 without travelling or sporting commitments so the garage will be rudely awakened from its summer hibernation.

10 sets of bits will be ready by 1 November. I need to order the Civic parts so please confirm your interest by PM, as before 145 per kit. I don't want to have a load of paid for bits sitting around!

Thanks
