With these cars, they are worth whatever they are worth TO YOU!

You can buy my Twilight SE for 15k then Steve..... a bargain compared to yours:stir:

Twilight under a lot of light conditions, just looks blue.
Bittersweet and Shot Silk look awesome at any time of day....
That's why the chromsecents were charged out at more than the chromactive paints

Steve, you misunderstood me - I wasn't comparing shot silk to bittersweet, just saying that shot silk looks at it's best when under low light conditions....

Actually, I think bittersweet is probably the more striking colour if comparing the two, but I wouldn't say either is "better"....

If, hopefully when I have found a collector for my EURO 4 190 I may be interested, until then I'll continue writing my article for the next MG-Rover mag. I'm not so fussy about the colour all I need is the V8 growl!

A base ZT 260 model currently for sale on Ebay. I`m sure it might be a fine car - but the picture somehow does not instill confidence....

Still pinching myself hope it's as good as I think, but I'm no expert and didn't get much feedback from my note re VIN #247 just though was too good to miss.
Sure we'll have to meet up. I pick up V8 on Saturday from Bromsgrove.

Simon your car looks great only problem I had was my 190 euro 4 has not attracted any interest whatsoever so I had to part ex for poor money. The garage I am buying my car from pressed me for a deposit as a dealer was interested. Do you want me to contact them and find out who it was?
You could contact them yourself if you like Westlands - Toyota 01527836511 Ian Banks is the contact I have. Or have you tried Summit garage Dudley 01384 259555 - John Newey sold his Bittersweet 260 a few weeks ago and the part ex poseiden 260 within weeks and also owns a soon to be supercharged 260. he might be interested.

Paul,

Thanks for the offer, but I've just re-listed the ad on fleabay for the 3rd month and am getting quite disinterested in the whole business of trying to sell the car. Last month had 25 watchers. Can't understand people watching a classified ad. Must be other 260 owners waiting to see if I get sensible money!

Best offer I had was 9k from a dealer on a new Galaxy, trouble was as soon as I saw the Galaxy in real life, I went off it, so will be going for a Grand Espace!. If it doesn't sell for sensible price, it'll be going as a part ex (which will mean crap price, I know) and anyone who subsequently buys it paying over the top. Ho hum.

If I get really desperate, I might park it in middle lane of the M25

Will prob end up using one of internet car buying outfits (eg wewillbuyyoucar.com etc etc)

ATB

I don't think it's too much for an all but brand new car with a warranty. Also, it's Band F, so avoiding the gas guzzler road tax band.

Are there any supercharged 260s for sale out there? I know Dreadnought have done about 19 blower upgrades, but selling my standard SE model and buying a Dreadnought 400 will probably be much cheaper than trying to get my car upgraded!
