Default 260s For Sale Thread

Carrying on from the original 260s for sale thread, which was starting to get a bit long, please post details of 260s that you come across on your travels!

I wonder how many will be sold on a '56' plate...

MG Re: 260s For Sale Thread

Well loved ZT260 Mk2 standard spec for sale.

The car details are as follows:

X power grey with gunsmoke interior including black part leather sports seats.
18.445 miles on the clock, one owner from new, immaculate condition.

Other extras include:
rear electric windows, CD Autochanger, Xenon light pack including washers

The car is located in Rugby and is in very good order. The asking price is in the region of 14k, but more importantly needs an enthusiast

If you are interested please e-mail [email protected] and I will forward your details on.

dixons doncaster have an 06 plate black partial SE spec in with low miles.
I can recommend tha car having nearly bought it myself, and they need to move it, so anyone needing one quickly will get a bargain.

yeah thats the blue one I mentioned above...
if it was a different colour and a MK2 I'd be all over it like a rash
However if it was a different colour ad a MK2 it would'nt be that price

I quite like that colour not many about in that shade me thinks...

If I was you I would get one of the 16k 'new' ones while you can...

I am sure if you turned up with cash or got finance and haggled a new one could be yours for 15k.

Okay it would be a non- SE but not necessarily a bad thing if you are going to keep it a while

I think SMC have a silver and grey one for that money - go get it!

If only i had the 15k
I havent seen a ZT in that colour, in the flesh, but I have seen a 75 either in it or a very similar colour and it just wasn't 'me'.
Silver isn't my bag either unfortunately,
I guess I want what I can't have or rather can't afford...

Garnet Red is a rare supertallic colour. Standard reds were Rio (solid) and Firefrost (met).

Red Mk1 private sale on ebay up in the Arctic Circle.

Particularly entertained by the line "Despite the low mileage, I did change two tyres due to a tracking fault which I did not notice but did get fixed as soon as it was pointed out by the main dealer."

If the tracking fault meant he got to 12,000 on the originals, maybe we should all get the same tracking fault

There are LOTS of new MG ZTs around all varieties including numerous V8s - Considering they only made 880 or so with the V8 engine, I wonder how many people bought one brand new when MG were alive - not many - and I also wonder how many bought one at full price - whoops!

Yes I saw that, it is a poverty spec model starting bid of 8000 not sure if that is good or not considering the low price that lovely hi spec Monogram ZTT V8 tourer with cream seats went for a few weeks ago, I really liked that one.

I pm'd the seller he is not a member of any of these forums and he sent me a couple of better sized pics

I like Red! but I also like all the extra toys in my current ZTT

What on earth will they be selling for next year I wonder?

Decisions decisions

Poverty spec = less weight

They are ridiculously cheap at the moment - almost too cheap I'd say as the fuel, insurance and tyre bills aren't discounted in line with the price. One can only hope that when there are no new ones left to force down prices the reduction in supply will help firm thisngs up a bit, after all they are a bit special.

It didn't go though did it LOL It got snapped up and had 3K plus added to the price, and put back on... heheh...

But yeah I know what you mean.

At least theres been a bit of movement on the trader in the last week or so, even if only in Mk1's the previous month was hopelessly dry and stagnant

Looked at an ignition Blue 190 MK2 the other day, Extremely striking colour.... 'we liked'

just need the mk2 prices to drop now

'cowers and awaits the barrage of abuse '

There certainly won't be any more "new" ones after this year. I heard somewhere that they won't be able to register any of them (not just V8s, I believe) later than a '56' plate, because new emissions regulations come into force then.

Which Chris (there's at least 3 of us on here, 2 of whom have posted recently on this thread) and which car particularly? There's a few of them referred to

If you click on a person's name, it will give you the option to send them an email or a PM btw.

Cheers,
