Lots of conflicting posts/stories about this. Currently my new wheel have spigot rings around 1mm too large for the ZS. Is this going to cause an issue or be dangerous?
Thanks.

Yes, get the correct one on there!!!! If there not the right size theres no point of having them on there.
I got mine off ebay. |

its a plastic ring that goes round the hub so the wheel fits on straight, basicly where you take your centre cap off behind there

Thanks, I had a read around. Some say you don't need them, some say its dangerous etc etc. Since fitting the wheels I haven't driven the car so I will get some sorted out.

The spigot ring performs 2 functions. Firstly it centralizes the wheel so it is concentric to the wheel hub and secondley it bares the wieght of the car!! Using rings that don't fit properly or none at all would be dangerous as the wheelbolts on cars are not designed to bare the wieght of the car!! I think I'm right in saying that inside diameter of the ring should be 56.1mm to fit over the hub on a ZS then the outside diameter should be whatever the bore size on the inside of the wheels are, mine are 76.1mm. Should be no more than £10 off ebay unless you go for alluminium ones which are gonna be around £15.

Yeah I just need to confirm the centre bore of the wheels. Its either 72, 74 or 76mm - will have to measure.
