Male 24 MGTF(in trophy yellow) definetly not a hairdresser! got mine when i was 22, and hell the insurance was high, just re-insuring this month and its now gone down to £600! was much higher the first year! Had to put my mum on it as a named driver to get it down last year!

I hate this thread. It makes me feel old and insignificant.

The truth is that I still just as fun and mad as ever but when I look in the mirror I see me as other people do

But what the hell I still love is when young lads in their 1.1 Saxos get 6 inches (yes inches not 18 centimetres) from my bumper in 30 mph zones and I leave them as a distant speck as soon as I it's O.K. to do so.

Bought my first Sports car ever(TF 160 Starlight Silver) in May.

I'm 54 years old, but still feel like I'm 15(the wife says I sometimes behave like it!)
Funny, but I hated MG's when I was young, could be due to the fact I worked at a Ford main dealer and my first car was a 1600cc Anglia(lowered 2 inches all round, 5 1/2 J steel wheels, Rolls Royce Regal red with a gold roof- what a beast!)

Love my TF and having a GREAT time!!

Male, 23. Dont worry your not the only one. Got mine just over a year ago and had to pay somewhere arounf the £1500 mark for my insurance.
